OUR MISSION
The educational mission of KOJB 90.1 FM will be to enhance the history, language, and traditional way of the Anishinabe; providing local native media and noncommercial programming; while providing media access for the Leech Lake Reservation. KOJB will be the resource for educating the audience about the oral history of the Leech Lake Anishinabe. Where the clans set and govern the way of life, as well as the life way (spirituality) involved in all activities of life, KOJB will promote storytelling, drums, singing, and the balance [of nature and the Anishinabe] [of nature within the Anishinabe].
Our Philosophy
KOJB Radio provides cultural, educational, and informational programming in addition to entertainment. Cultural programs include Pow Wow and round dance programs, historical programming involving drum and dance, history of the reservation, local pow wows, natural medicines and Ojibwe-language programming.. Educational programming varies from health programs, native issues, and community programming describing the services from the programs administered by the Leech Lake Nation. Informational programs include; National & Local news, community events, and emergency/weather related information. Entertainment programming includes an eclectic mix of music.KOJB is proud to provide a platform for local artists of all genres.

OUR COVERAGE AREA
The Eagle broadcasts from Cass Lake to S-Lake to ensure that northern Minnesota has access to quality educational, cultural, and informational media. We are the premiere radio station for the Leech Lake Nation and identified listening areas.
